Hello!
I am so excited to capture your family!
When my first daughter was born back in 2015, I just knew that I had to, in some way, get involved in helping families welcome their beautiful babies into this world.
Would I go back to school to become a nurse? Certify to become a Doula? It was in this search that I rediscovered photography. I couldn't believe how brilliantly photographers around the world were able to capture the emotion and love felt between parent and child. These photos were so intentionally made that the experience between subjects was palpable.
I loved it. I was in.
What to
Wear
When choosing your outfits, think timeless and classic. Solid, neutral, earth tone colors always photograph well. Try to avoid clothing with large, distracting prints or logos. When putting together outfits for the whole family, try to coordinate three or four colors that are in the same color family rather than matching one or two colors.
For women and girls, when in doubt, sweeping dresses and clothing with movement can play up the mood and are always beautiful and fun.
For men and boys, a solid t-shirt or button-up along with jeans or khakis work well. Bowties and suspenders can add a bit of fun.
For newborns, a simple solid colored onesie/bodysuit is all that is necessary. Big bows and extravagant outfits detract from a baby's tinyness as well as the natural perfection that is your baby.
For babies in sizes newborn-3 months I have a small selection of neutral tone bodysuits for client use.
Planning tip: Moms, choose an outfit that makes you feel beautiful first, then plan the other outfits around yours.
With all of this said, don't forget comfort above all else. If the wearer is not comfortable in their clothing, it will show in the photos!

How will I receive my images?
You will receive your images via digital download from your own private online gallery. You will also be able to purchase prints and other products at that time.
How will I choose my images?
You will select your images from a lightly edited, watermarked proof gallery. From there I will fully edit your chosen images and return them to you for a final review.
Can I print my images on my own?
You will be able to print your images anywhere you like, however, I cannot guarantee print quality from these other places. Please ask if you would like suggestions on where to print.
How many images will I receive?

When will I receive my images?
Approximately 2-3 weeks after your session date.
How long will my session last?
I expect your session to last about 60 minutes, however some sessions take more time, some take less.
